I come from a family of men who served our country in wars during our last century. From the war to end all wars to the Cold War, my relatives reported on time for duty to serve this country. However, now, our current situation seems to be one that does not have our full support.
It will be costly. It might cause the need for a draft. Our economy has already been impacted. And, no real ending to this conflict has been mentioned by our president, except total destruction. Scary words during scary times. Better words to listen to, right now, are those from the late John Lennon.
